Ontem aconteceu mais um encontro de autores daRocco Jovens Leitores: conhecemos a Marie Lu, autora da série “Legend”!

Ano passado ganhei o livro da editora e havia achado tão bem escrito quanto “Hunger Games”! Em minha opinião é sem duvida um dos melhores livros de young adult no atual mercado.

Mostrei alguns vídeos dos lançamentos no Brasil e Marie ficou bastante impressionada com a nossa Bienal! Agora está animada em ir ao Brasil. Emoticon smile

Além de extremamente simpática, ainda de quebra conheci o marido dela que se chama… pasmem… PRIMO! Eu fiquei: “Você se chama… PRIMO? Sério mesmo?? Primo… PRIMO?”. Ele riu, achando que eu estava achando engraçado. Então expliquei: “Cara, esse é o nome do maior dos Reis na minha trilogia ‘Dragões de Éter’!! E é a primeira vez que eu conheço um!!”

Ele adorou, já que há tempos tentou convencer Marie Lu a batizar um personagem com o nome dele, rs! E Marie Lu, quando soube que é casada com um rei, ainda comentou: “ah, eu já sabia”. Emoticon smile

Yesterday there was another meeting of Rocco’s authors: we knew Marie Lu, author of the series “Legend”!

Last year I won the book and I had found so well written as “Hunger Games”! In my opinion it is one of the best books for young adult in the current market.

I showed some videos of events in Brazil and Marie was very impressed with our Book Fairs! Now she is excited to go to Brazil. Emoticon smile

And I even met her husband called … gasp … PRIMO! I was like: “Are you … PRIMO? Really?? Primo… PRIMO?”. He laughed. So I said: “Man, that’s the name of the greatest kings in my trilogy ‘Dragons of Ether’ !! And it’s the first time I know one!!”

He loved it, as there are times trying to convince Marie Lu to baptize a character with his name, lol! And Marie Lu when she learned that is married to a king, also commented: “oh, I already knew.” Emoticon smile
